Series Description

This speaker series from CANSSI Ontario, showcases opportunities in all realms of society for Data Science.

Speakers are Data Scientists who span multiple disciplines, such as political science, health, ethics, humanities, global affairs, data science education, genomics, economics and many more.

To ensure state-of-the-art, cutting edge Data Science content across many disciplines, the series employs two expert nominating committees with representatives from:

  • CANSSI Ontario Partner Universities, and
  • The Department of Statistical Sciences (DoSS) at the University of Toronto (U of T)

Seminars are generally held on Mondays, September to May.
