If your research has already had a demonstrable impact on your field, evidenced through such measures as publications, citations, speaking invitations or other recognitions, and supportive colleagues, you may be well positioned for nomination.

Consult Within Your Discipline

Consult with your colleagues and chair or dean’s office to learn about awards and timelines specific to your discipline, and explore opportunities in the U of T Honours & Awards Opportunities and Pivot Funding Opportunities databases.

Contact Divisional Coordinator

If you think you may be eligible and competitive, discuss the opportunity with your divisional coordinator who may be able to help you develop your nomination.

Nomination Letter

Consider who might advocate for your research and write you a strong nomination letter.

Faculty Awards Dossier

Reduce the time involved in preparing nominations by repurposing content or preparing dossier materials proactively, using our guide to Recommended Components of a Faculty Awards Dossier (PDF).
