The Critical Digital Humanities Initiative’s Digital Research Storytelling Workshop supports faculty, faculty-led research teams, librarians, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate students to create 2-to-5-minute creative multimodal videos that highlight key findings from their research project. Digital storytelling is a growing approach to research creation. Expressions of interest are due April 5, 2024.

Proposal submissions are now open for the IT@UofT 2024 conference, which will take place in-person at the St. Geroge campus on May 8 & 9. Each year, the conference draws hundreds of attendees, and is a great forum to share ideas and make lasting connections with colleagues across the University. To submit a presentation proposal to the IT@UofT 2024 programming committee, complete the online submission form by 5 p.m. on Thursday, March 21. Read the proposal submission guidelines.

Exciting changes are coming to Duo, the University of Toronto’s trusted mobile app for multi-factor authentication. These changes will improve the MFA authentication experience for U of T students, faculty and staff. There is no action required from users. Be on alert for phishing emails that ask you to act to maintain access to your account, such as clicking a link, scanning a QR code or providing your MFA bypass codes. Report any suspicious emails to report.phishing@utoronto.ca.
