In Conversation With…Visiting Topics in EDI in Research & Innovation
Series Description
Equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) has become more than a federal granting and labor requirement for academic institutions, it has become a moral imperative in every aspect. Building a more equitable and inclusive environment where diversity is part of the culture and embedded in everything we do, is foundational to Inclusive Excellence. EDI in Research and Innovation ensures that knowledge and contributions to advancement in health, technologies, policies, and all fields of research is relevant to and serves a diverse global society.
In Conversation With…Visiting Topics in EDI in Research & Innovation is a series of discussions with experts at University of Toronto on how to embed best practices and strategic EDI approaches within the research and innovation ecosystem. Each session will be hosted by Dr. Nicole Kaniki, the inaugural Director of EDI in Research and Innovation, and she will be joined by guests from across the tri-campus for these conversations.
Attendees are invited to join the conversation by sharing your ideas, candid questions, expertise, successes and strategies!
